Caregiver supporting an adult in a warm home setting

California Residential & Supported Living

Empowering Adults. Enriching Lives.

LFP Corporation provides person-centered residential and supported living services for adults with intellectual disabilities throughout California — built on dignity, independence, and community.

Our Mission

A Commitment to Dignity and Independence

At LFP Corporation, our mission is to provide person-centered residential and supported living services that honor the individuality, dignity, and full potential of every adult we serve. We believe that every person — regardless of the nature or degree of their disability — deserves to live a meaningful, self-directed life in a home and community of their choosing.

Our programs are built around each individual's unique strengths, preferences, and goals. We work alongside the people we support, their families, and their care teams to design services that promote real independence, foster genuine community connections, and open doors to employment, recreation, and personal growth.

As a licensed provider in California, LFP Corporation partners with regional centers and funding agencies to deliver services that are fully compliant with state and federal regulations — including the HCBS Settings Final Rule — while always keeping the individual at the center of every decision.

Regulatory Compliance

Our Commitment to HCBS Settings Standards

LFP Corporation fully complies with the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Settings Final Rule (42 CFR § 441.301), the federal standard that ensures individuals receiving Medicaid-funded long-term services and supports live and receive care in settings that are truly integrated, rights-affirming, and person-centered. Every residential and supported living program we operate is designed to meet — and exceed — each of the following HCBS requirements.

Community Integration

Our settings are physically integrated into the broader community. Individuals have full access to community life — including opportunities to seek competitive employment, shop, dine, worship, and engage in recreational activities alongside people without disabilities.

Individual Choice of Setting

Each person selects their living arrangement and service setting from among real, meaningful options. Placement always reflects the individual's informed preference — never the convenience of the provider or system.

Privacy, Dignity, and Respect

Every individual is guaranteed the right to privacy in their living space, respectful treatment at all times, and full protection from coercion, restraint, and exploitation. Lockable doors, private communications, and personal space are standard.

Autonomy and Independence

Our programs actively support each person's right to make choices about their daily life — including schedules, meals, activities, visitors, and personal goals — with the level of assistance they choose, not the level we prescribe.

Freedom of Movement

Individuals are free to move within and outside their home without unnecessary restriction. Any limitation on movement is documented, individually justified, and subject to regular review in the person's care plan.

Choice of Services and Providers

Individuals have the right to choose their services, supports, and the people who provide them. We support each person in exercising this right and facilitate transitions when a change in provider or service type better serves their goals.
